You Can Still Make Money From Google
Those of you with a good website have probably already considered the online business arena. Whether or not your site is designed to represent your business, you can still make money from Google through a few new programs they have to offer. A lot of your success depends on your site and its content, but you can get a good boost from Google, Inc.
There are several different ways Google offers its services to its online clients. Google AdWords, Google AdSense, and Submit Google are just a few of these – and the more popular. Here’s an overview of these programs:
AdWords is the advertising program Google uses to match your site’s content with relevant search queries. By finding keywords and topics that will represent your site’s content, they can post ads on the search result pages of those already interested in something you’re selling. This means they can find the perfect target audience for your website. Google can also increase the number of ads it puts out by posting on independent websites – like your own – that match your site’s content.
AdSense is the program Google has for those who want these ads posted on their sites. If you’ve got a site that isn’t really designed to make business transactions, have no fear – Google can still find a way to pay you for your website. By opening your site to Google’s advertising, you can make money for every ad that’s clicked on within your web domain.
Submit Google is the cheapest (free, that is,) program Google offers, but it’s also the least effective. It lets you send Google your site, so they can index its contents and post it on their search engine result pages. Unfortunately, it’s not going to help you much; if your site is really popular enough to achieve a decent rank in these results, then it’s popular enough to get on the result pages on its own. The best recommendation is to use AdWords to boost popularity, if that’s what you’re looking for.
