How to Make Money with Photography as a Kid
Do you love to take picture? Do you dream of being a professional photographer one day? Have you ever thought about it before? Photography is a great career, but you can also learn how to make money fast with photography as a kid. There are lots of ways for kids to make money, but this one is fun, unique, and potentially lucrative, especially if you turn it into a career one day.
How to Take a Good Picture
If you don’t have any experience taking pictures, get a book from the library to help you get started. You don’t have to be able to do professional shots to make money from it. You don’t need a fancy camera, either. You can use your camera if you have one, your parents camera, or your clients camera.
Who will Pay Me?
This is the confusing part. No, you’re not going to take professional wedding pictures or anything fancy like that. Do you ever hear people complain that they forgot to take pictures at a party they threw because they were too busy? Maybe they were only able to take 1 or 2 photos of their child’s first birthday party, or they weren’t able to get many pictures at a graduation party. You can fill that void!
Tell people that you will take pictures at parties and events for a small fee. You’re not a professional and you don’t have a fancy camera, so you’re not going to charge hundreds or thousands of dollars however. You can probably take just as good of pictures as they could. You’re just doing what they don’t have time to do so they can enjoy the party more. Plus, you’re not going to be busy helping with the party, just taking pictures. Use a digital camera so you can take all sorts of pictures of different people, parts of the event, and so on. Take posed shots, candid shots, action shots, etc.
If you use their camera, you don’t even need to worry about downloading pictures and sending them out. It’s fun because you get to take lots of pictures, and you’re helping them out. Plus, you don’t have to be a certain age to operate a camera and take a decent picture. If you do a good job, everyone will be asking you to do their party.
