I had the imagined idea that if I did “this much” work that I could then stop working, sit back and let things go. That I would start to earn money, get recognition, hot women, lots of friends and just be “cool”.  The reality is that this was just an illusion of my mind.  Just because the system being taught in order to make money from home had changed, didnt make it how I imaged it to be.

The system being shown was one in which if you followed you could make money from home by building blog websites with targeted information directed to specific keywords.  If you then posted 1 article with 2 links for the first 90 days then it, 2 articles for the next 90 then you could fairly well guarantee to have a high ranking website for those keywords.

Well I looked at one of the pages, saw what was recommended for the first 10 links (5 articles) and my mind somehow thought thats all I needed to do for each keyword and then I would start making money from home.

Why does our mind do this to us?  Well I think its in part because of the lack of education we have.  We get to think that money is something it isnt.  Money is an idea in which we can exchange services and be paid for the value we create for others.  Yet we get the idea in our head that money is REAL, like an apple.  Its not something you can just go out and pick.

So instead of playing the money making game play the love what you do game.  For some that is what they enjoy.  For most its not.  I love to sing, dance, play sports, build houses, etc.  Very few people love to “make money”.  Sure we all love what money does for us, however the acquisition and accumulation of money is nothing without utilization.  A full bank account is useless and a waste of time if you do nothing with it.

So in order to make money from home I figured out that if I dont enjoy the whole process of what I am doing then I should start doing something that I do find enjoyable.  This is no different for you.  Do what you love and let the money come on its own.
